The first thing you will notice when seated in a RECARO® 24 hour chair is how you are held in place. This is the trademark RECARO® feel. Supporting the natural S-curve of your back is key to long term seating comfort and a keyfunction of these 24 hour chairs. The patented recliner mechanism allows the backrest to recline up to 25º. This combined with the tilt mechanism allows for a full 45º of recline for total relaxation if you so desire.The feel of a RECARO® chair is unique and supports you like no other brand in the world. The rigid steel frame structure of a RECARO® chair is designed for strength and long service life. Robotic welding assures you of long term reliability. For thorough back support, the precision backrest adjustment is controlled by the Keiper recliner mechanism that is a patented design. The action is smooth and extremely robust. Your lower back is comforted by the Airmatic® triple chamber, self-equalizing, inflatable lumbar support. Automotive grade leather hides are optically scanned for surface imperfections. Once the imperfect areas are identified, the Gerber computerized cutter is programmed to cut around them. Premium automotive grade leathers are far superior to furniture grade leathers. They are more durable and treated to resist UV rays. The hides are impeccably stitched for well defined contours and outstanding finish quality.

The mirror finish, 5-star cast aluminum base is manufactured by the same company that manufactures aluminum components for Harley-Davidson®. It is rated for 24 hour intensive use. The 29" diameter is the largest that is commercially available.

The mounting bracket that secures the tilt mechanism to the chair is manufactured from 7 gauge cold rolled steel. It is precision laser cut to .0001". It then goes through a 3 stage wash process and finally a baked on powder-coat finish is applied. The heavy duty knee tilt mechanism features self lubricating bearings and has been extensively tested for durability and long life.

Heavy duty armrest support tubes are constructed of 16 gauge, mirror polished 304 stainless steel. The comfortable armrest pads are made of skinned foam for durability and comfort. The height adjustment range is 3.5". The armrests will also adjust for width in a 2" range.

No two individuals are built the same. This is an important consideration in seat design and development. Different body proportions as well as restricted movement can lead to muscle damage. This is primarily the case when sitting for hours is required.

The TITAN, Executive and Commander 24 hour chairs feature LiquiCell® technology. This innovative combination of a low viscosity fluid and strategically placed seal points control the flow of liquid, LiquiCell® thus reducing discomfort associated with prolonged sitting. LiquiCell® equalizes perpendicular pressure at the point of contact (thus reducing pressure); soft tissue compression is greatly reduced thereby significantly reducing skin friction and soft tissue shear stress (micro-tears). This is why you are squirming around in your chair by the end of a long day.
